Earlier, ahead of the Inauguration Day, Nita and Mukesh Ambani attended a private reception hosted in honor of President Trump.

Nita Ambani chose the traditional route for the reception also. She wore a custom-designed Kanchipuram silk saree by Swadesh. Weaved by National Award-winning master artisan B Krishnamurthy, it features intricate and carefully chosen motifs like Iruthalaipakshi (two-headed eagle symbolizing Lord Vishnu), Mayil (representing immortality and divinity), and the mythological Sorgavasal animal trails (symbolizing charm). Her accessories were a statement in themselves, with the necklace being a standout piece. It shows a rare parrot-shaped pendant made in southern India in the 18th century. Adorned with emeralds, rubies, diamonds and pearls, the pendants were set using the traditional gold Kundan technique, enhanced with vibrant red and green enamels, complementing her look perfectly .

Mukesh and Nita Ambani were invited to the swearing-in ceremony of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States, which took place at the Capitol in Washington DC on Monday.
