In the score of films released every year, there are a handful of films that do not promise the audience for many reasons. However, it is only after his release on a large screen or OTT that the audience finds out that it is not an excellent work and a Dalit of the entertainment industry.

1. Hasin Dilruba

Haseen Dilruba of Tapasi Pannu, Wikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Ran was released on Netflix. While the film did not do enough eyeball before its release, it became an anger among cinefiles after making its way on streaming platforms. The 2021 romantic thriller film was so liked that on popular demand, released in August 2024 again a sequel called Haseen Dilruba.
2. Intelligence

Intelligence is another underdog film that received a positive review for performance, screenplay and direction. 2023 detective thriller film Stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, Vamika Gabbi and Azmar Haq Badon. Stunned by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film is based on Amar Bhushan’s detective novel, Escape to Nover.
3. Dial 100

Directed by RENSIL D’ILVA, Dial 100 is a thriller drama with Manoj Bajpayee, Nina Gupta and Sakshi Tanwar. The 2021 film which is inspired by Danish film, The Guelty, showed how an overwork police officer helps resolve a complex case.
4. Story
Where to watch: Prime Video
Kahani is a story about a pregnant woman who goes to Kolkata in search of her missing husband during the festival of Durga Puja. Vidya Balan has been included in the lead role in the 2012 action thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh. She is associated with Parambara Chatterjee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Indranil Sengpta and Saswata Chatterjee.
5. My love I swear this on you
Where to see: zee5
Sanam Teri Kasam is a heart -wrenching love story which is sure to touch the most difficult of hearts. The romantic drama characterized by Harshvardhan Rane and Mavra Hocken in his Hindi film debut did not make much impact when it was originally released in 2016. However, when it was re -released in February 2025, the film was one of the highest grossing Indian films.
