In the post, she stopped rumors about Mohanlal that she was not watching the film before her release and said she was aware of every scene. He approved the air, stating that his son had not cheated anyone and if people believe that there was an issue with Impuran, he should not be responsible.
Prithviraj’s Impuran starring Mohanlal faced pushbacks from right -wing organizations on the Gujarat riot portrayal. After the backlash, the manufacturers decided to make 17 cuts and re -edit the film. Meanwhile, director Major Ravi claimed that Mohanlal had not seen preview and was unaware of what was happening in some parts of the film.
In her Facebook post, she mentioned that she did not want to comment on the controversy initially. However, she now decided to do so as she could see a false story to dismiss her son Prithviraj’s name.
His post read, “As a person who knows the truth about what happened behind the scenes of Impuran, it hurts me deeply to see Prithviraj wrongly. It is a mother’s pain. It is saying that it is inviting the mockry, so it is.”
Here is his post in Malayalam:
“Neither Mohanlal nor the producers have ever said that Prithviraj has cheated him. I don’t think they will ever do it,” he wrote. He wrote, “He praised my son on many occasions. Seeing some people trying to sacrifice the sacrifice without the knowledge of Mohanlal or producers without the knowledge of Mohanlal, he wrote,” he wrote, “he wrote.
Mallika said that “If people believe that there is an issue with Ampuran, every person involved in the project is equally responsible.”
“They all read the script together, review the scenes as they were shot, and were approved. If any change was required during the filming, the author Murali Gopi was always available to make adjustments. Therefore, how can Prithviraj be held accountable after the release of the film alone?”
She recalled a conversation that she was with her son during the Ampuran shoot to return her claims. Further, he wrote, “A few months ago, during a phone call, my son told me that he was busy shooting in Gujarat. He said,” I am in the middle of work, Amma Laleton is here. I have to show him every scene that we have shot so far and discussed things with Antony. “This clearly proves that there was not a single scene in Ampuran that Mohanlal was unaware of this. There is nothing in this film that Mohanlal does not know, and he will never claim himself.”
Mallika also said that some people are spreading wrong information about their son for personal benefit. He also said that it is wrong to claim that some parts of the script were added without Mohanlal’s knowledge or he did not see the preview of the film. ,
He said that no preview was done for Ampuran and he watched the film on the release date with daughters and grandchildren.
Mallika also sent a direct message to director Major Ravi, who claimed that Mohanlal was unaware of some parts of the script and did not see preview. “For Major Ravi, I have only one thing to say: it was unnecessary, Major Ravi. I also extend it to others who are trying to hunt Prithviraj. Mohanlal or Antony will never say that Prithviraj has cheated him. The son committed?”
He called the stories fabricated against Prithviraj and suspected the participation of internal sources in the orchestrated attack. Talking about how Prithviraj and his family have erected their grounds, they have written, “We are not people who thrive on politics. We have close ties with the leaders of our BJP, Congress and CPM. Due to political pressures, some leaders may have to change their stance on the issue, but we have never changed the stance or have taken back anyone.”
He ended his note with words: “The most beloved people of different political families, Prithviraj never opposed anyone’s personal political beliefs. Satyameva Jayate.”
