Moh Moh Ke Dhaage singer Monali Thakur leaves Varanasi show midway due to management ‘glitch’; It is said ‘to steal money…’

Monali Thakur is a National Film Award winning playback singer who has fans across the globe. Many of them like her and her voice so much that they pay huge sums of money to watch the singer perform live in her concerts. Recently she was performing in a show in Varanasi. But 45 minutes after the show started, the singer stopped midway and apologized to the audience for leaving the show. He blamed the management and said, “I don’t understand what they should make of the stage to steal money. (They made a pitiful stage just to steal money.)”

On 22 December, Monali Thakur reached Varanasi, ready to perform live for numerous fans gathered in a huge open space. However, she was disappointed with the poor management, which led her to leave the show midway. In a video of the event that is circulating online, the singer can be seen addressing the audience.

Thakur started by saying that she was disappointed because she was excited to perform at the venue with her team. However, the infrastructure and management of those responsible is poorly maintained. “I can’t understand what they have to do on stage to steal money. (They created a pathetic platform just to steal money.)” he shouted.

The Moh Moh Ke Dhaage singer further said that she had repeatedly said that she might injure her ankle. Her dancers were telling her to calm down, but everything was a mess. The playback singer further said that they are trying their best because they are accountable to everyone in the audience and they will hold them accountable for all this.

But she hoped that she would be able to grow enough to take on all the responsibility herself and would never have to depend on such “useless, immoral and irresponsible people” for her concerts. In the end he apologized sincerely to his fans and said that he had to close the show. Having said that, she promised her heartbroken fans that she will come back for them, perform again and give them an even better show than this one. “So, please forgive us,” she expressed.
