Mallika Sherawat, best known for her role in Murder (2004), makes a comeback in Raaj Shaandilyaa’s recently released directorial venture, Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The actress has been making headlines over the past few years for her revelations about her experiences in the Indian film industry. Recently, Mallika Sherawat revealed a shocking incident in the South and said that a director had told her that a hero would make money on her waist.
In a new interview with Hotterfly, Mallika Sherawat talks about her experience of working with a filmmaker in the South industry. The actress recalled that she was shooting a song and a director had asked her to show her hotness.
“I was doing a song in the South. The director came to me ‘Madam, we want to show how hot you are’. I said ‘Okay’. ‘So what will happen in this scene, the hero will make rotis on your waist. (The director came and told me about the scene that he wanted to show my hotness. The director told that the hero will make chapati on my waist)” said the Murder actress.
He said, “Can you imagine? It was his idea to show how attractive a woman is.” The Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala video actress remembered that the director had told her that this was an important scene in the song.
Mallika revealed that she rejected the role and shared that it would not work for her.
Meanwhile, during her appearance on The Ranveer Show, Mallika Sherawat spoke about how actors have to be diplomatic to avail opportunities in the industry.
The Murder actress said that if actors are not diplomatic, they lose projects in their career. Mallika told that to get films people have to learn Chamchagiri. Mallika, who hails from Haryana, said that she cannot flatter people and is not ready for it.
The actress has also worked in films like Darna Zaroori Hai, Kis Kis Ki Kismat, Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam, Welcome, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Ugly Aur Pagli, Thank You, Double Dhamaal and others.
