If there was an award for being a committed fitness fanatic, Malaika Arora’s trophy cabinet would have been filled by now. Between busy schedules and luxurious vacations, workouts never take a backseat for the diva. Her Instagram is proof of it. On “Malaika’s Monday Motivation”, the actress became our wellness guide. How? She shared a video for individuals who are “not able to shake off lower back pain”. To “feel better”, the actress suggested yoga, specifically the cat and cow pose, also known as hatha yoga. In a step-by-step process, she showed how to do the asana. Malaika began by inhaling, followed by getting into the position with her hands shoulder-width apart and knees under the hips. Next, she advised the audience to “exhale and come into the cow pose”.

Giving details in the video text, Malaika advised her Insta-family to “repeat the cat-cow stretch with every inhale and exhale” according to the breath movement. “Continue the same movement throughout the entire spine. You can do this at your own comfortable pace. After your final exhale, come back to a neutral spine,” she added. Her inspirational caption read, “One pose at a time, flowing into happiness.”
