Madharasi Movie Review: The ‘Madharasi’ of director AR Murugados has a commercial action on Shivkarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasant and Vidyut Jammal, gun culture. While performance and action sequences win you, the logical flaws of the film have kept it an average entertainer.

Despite being one of the well -known mainstream heroes in the Tamil film industry, Shivkarthikeyan surprises everyone with his script options. Some of his previous films, while fitting in commercial trops, also stand out to tell his story. Did his latest cooperation with director R. Murugadoss add to the streak of his success? Let’s know!
Raghuram (Shivarathakayan) is an orphan with a painful past. Little attacked him, struggling with confusion syndrome. As soon as Malti (Rukmini spring) enters her life, she turns for good. Meanwhile, NIA officer Prem (Biju Menon) and his team are on a mission to stop a notorious North Indian gang involved in a weapon smuggling syndicate. Virat (Pratit Jammwal) and Chirag (Shabbir Kallarkal) are leading the syndicate plan to smuggle weapons in Tamil Nadu.
Prem’s unsuccessful mission and Raghu’s unsuccessful suicide attempt bring him together. Prem planned to prevent weapons from entering the state. Raghuram gets entangled in this mission. Will he be helpful for love? Will Raghuram and Malathi end together? What happens to the mission of Virat and Chirag? All these more are answered during two hours and 48 minutes.
Director AR Murugadoss’s ‘Madharasi’ is a commercial recreational who goes for low hanging fruits. The first half of the film is filled with logical flaws that question us the power and skills of the National Investigation Agency. For an action entertainer to work, conflicts are important. The central struggle here is the love story between Raghu and Malathi. His love story is not the strongest discovery of the film. This makes it very difficult to fall in love with ‘Madharsi’.
However, once the conflict is established, ‘Madharsi’ scores well. While some bright flaws are often harvested, action sequences and the performance of the lead cast assumed the negative. For example, take the interval sequence in ‘Madharsi’. The set-up for banging interval begins on an unstable note with a conference call. Although it is in the form of an unknown comedy, it is not land. However, thus there is a magnificent action sequence that prepares us for the second half.
Tanwala anomalies in ‘Madharsi’ make the film up to rise above the minimum. After the interval, the film closes and keeps the proceedings interesting. Below the irrational argument is a solid story about a common man (read: Angry young man) is getting a chance to save his people. However, random treatment makes it an average effort.
Every film associated with police and smuggled gangs follows a certain template. Everything takes place in ‘Madharsi’, to make an attack completely in the enemy camp to plant his men into the opposite gang with each gang. Lack of twist and turn also prevents offering a full experience.
Shivrathaik, in the form of Raghuram, firmly sells innocent work. It is an emotional sequence or action block, he bears the film. Rukmini Vasant as Malathi saw the part and performed the best of her abilities. Biju Menon plays the role of an NIA officer. However, his character reminds us of every Tamil cinema police, which is seen only after dealing with the villain of the hero. Fitute Jammwal gets many stylish scenes and helps his sequence to drowning the film with Raghu of Shivkartikeyan.
‘Madharsi’ has a story that has the ability to be another ‘Thuppakki’ or ‘Kathi’, which both lived up to commercial entertainment tags. However, the story settles for mediation. Keeping in mind the performance and action blocks, ‘Madharasi’ is a film that does not rely on intelligence.
