Korean actor Song Joong-ki and his British actress wife Katie Louise Saunders have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, in Rome.

Song Joong-ki announced the good news through a statement and a photo of himself holding his newborn baby’s tiny hand. “It’s been over a year since I met my first child here. I am incredibly grateful to announce that we have been blessed with another beautiful baby boy. Our sweet princess was born healthy, and both my wife and our baby are doing well and resting,” the actor’s statement read.

His agency, Hai Zeum Studio, also confirmed the news, saying, “Song Joong Ki welcomed a baby girl into the world today. He is grateful to everyone who has been sending him congratulatory messages, please send him your blessings and lots of support.

Song Joong-ki’s latest update comes months after his agency, Hyzeum Studio. Confirmed in July that he and Katie Louise Saunders were expecting Their second child. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in June 2023.

The Vincenzo star married the British actor in January earlier that year, after publicly confirming their relationship in December 2022.

Song Joong-ki was last seen in the Netflix film My Name is Loh Kiwan. He will next be seen in Bogotá: City of the Lost. AThe actor also made a cameo appearance recently Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won in the hit K-drama Queen of Tears.
