Karisma Kapoor refutes claims of acting restrictions on Kapoor women
Actress Karisma Kapoor recently dismissed claims of acting restrictions on women in the Kapoor clan on Zakir Khan’s show ‘Aapka Apna Zakir’.

Actress Karisma Kapoor recently refuted rumours about the Kapoor women not being allowed to work, especially after marriage. Speaking on comedian Zakir Khan’s show Aapka Apna Zakir, Karisma said there is no truth to such reports and added that the women who don’t work do so voluntarily.
The actor said, “These are all matters whether I was allowed or not. When my mother and Neetu aunty got married, their choice was that they wanted to settle down, have children and have a good career. It was their choice (All the discussions about whether I was allowed or not are just baseless rumours. When my mother and Neetu aunty got married, it was on their own terms as they wanted to focus on starting their family and having kids, as their careers were already well established).”
,Similarly, Shammi Uncle and Shashi Uncle’s wives, Geeta Bali ji and Jennifer Aunty, they worked after marriage. So there is no such thing that in the Kapoor family one cannot work after marriage or a Kapoor girl cannot work Karisma said, “Geeta Bali ji and Jennifer aunty continued working even after marriage. So, it is not true that in the Kapoor family, you cannot work after marriage or Kapoor women are not allowed to work. There was no such restriction.”
Talking about work, Karisma was last seen in the Netflix thriller Murder Mubarak.
