Kannada actor Upendra along with the team of his recent film UI visited Guru Narasimha Temple in Udupi, Karnataka. Pictures and videos of the actor and his team seeking blessings and praying for the success of the film have surfaced online.
In the pictures and videos shared on X, Upendra is seen entering the temple wearing a black shirt and gray jeans. He warmly welcomed fans who took photographs of him. In another picture, the actor is seen attending a puja ceremony with the film’s team.

Upendra’s UI released in theaters on 20 December. Apart from starring in it, he also directed it, marking his return to direction after a gap of nine years.

India Today’s review of the film UI states, “The strongest aspect of UI is its use of metaphors to represent humanity and society. Though it is less complex than Upendra’s earlier directorial ventures such as A, Upendra and Uppi 2 And confusing, but this simplicity works in the film’s favor as it communicates its message effectively without overwhelming the audience.”
