Name a better comfort food than rajma chawal and we will wait. Rajma are red kidney beans prepared with spices, tomatoes and onions. When aromatic rajma is paired with steamed or jeera rice, the delicious explosion in your mouth can lead to a meal. Don’t know about you, but Kalki Koechlin expresses a similar sentiment. On Friday, the actress enjoyed herself a plate of home-made rajma chawal. In the picture posted by the actress on her Instagram Stories, we can see that the rajma was topped with coriander leaves and served with rice. It looked so delicious. Kalki also enjoyed a crispy and fluffy puri with the North Indian meal.My rajma rice was fine. (My rajma rice turned out fine.) But it is all due to my cook Urmi didi. my round shape doesn’t turn round (I don’t have goals),” the side note read.

Even during work-related travels, Kalki Koechlin makes sure to take out some time from her busy schedule to satisfy the foodie in her. How do we know? Well, a few days ago the actress was in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for a “quick shoot”, where she tasted the traditional cuisine of the country. Kalki posted a collection of pictures from her travel album on Instagram, in one of which, she gave fans a glimpse of the popular baklava dessert. There were trays full of pistachio-filled baklava, which got our sweet tooth excited. This special pastry comes with multiple layers and has a delicious crunch. It is often served with chopped nuts. Earlier, Kalki Koechlin showed us a delicious list of Middle Eastern dishes prepared by her partner, Guy Hershberg. The menu had freshly baked bread and hummus bowls garnished with chickpeas and oil.
