Kalki 2898 AD is undoubtedly a hit in the theatres, with most audiences and critics giving it a positive response and eagerly waiting for its sequel. In the latest development, it seems like producer Ashwini Dutt himself has given an update for the next installment.
According to Suresh PRO’s report, the producer has revealed that 60% of the epic film’s sequel has already been shot. However, several major portions of the upcoming film are still to be completed.

The producer of Kalki 2898 AD also said that the shooting is still pending, so they are not clear about the release date of the next part. Also, in an early conversation with Nag Ashwin before the release of the film, the director said that the sequel will take around 3 years to complete.
After the makers revealed the details about the upcoming sequel of the Prabhas starrer, it will be quite exciting to speculate about what the future holds in the Kalki Cinematic Universe.
