Le Seraphim’s agency Source Music has filed a defamation lawsuit against ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, seeking damages of 500 million KRW (over 3 crores in Indian rupees). The lawsuit, reported by South Korean media outlets on July 15, 2024, claims that ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin’s statements have damaged Le Seraphim’s reputation.

According to reports, Source Music has filed a lawsuit against Min Hee-jin, accusing her of making defamatory statements and obstructing work.

Min Hee-jin previously alleged that HYBE promised her that it would launch the first girl group Newsies, but this was later changed and Le Seraphim was launched first. She also claimed that HYBE discriminated against both girl groups.

Source Music has raised three main issues against Min Hee-jin: her claims about casting the Newseen members, false promises by HYBE regarding the debut of the label’s first girl group, and that Source Music showed negligence towards the Newseen members.

Source Music claimed that Min Hee-jin’s claims have negatively affected Le Seraphim’s image, causing them to be targeted with malicious comments. Le Seraphim’s agency has collected evidence against ADOR’s CEO and submitted it with the lawsuit.

K-pop girl group, Le Seraphim, is preparing for a comeback in August 2024. The group, which will debut in 2022, consists of five members: Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae.
