India has revealed that the much-awaited sequel, ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’, will hit cinemas in India on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, two days ahead of its originally scheduled release. The early release has sent waves of excitement among fans of the franchise, who have been eagerly waiting for the next chapter in the iconic character’s story.

Directed by Todd Phillips, the film stars Joaquin Phoenix in the Oscar-winning role of Arthur Fleck, a troubled comedian who transforms into the infamous Joker. ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ also features Lady Gaga in a prominent role, adding to the curiosity about the film.

The sequel promises to delve deeper into the psyche of its characters, exploring new dimensions to the dark and complex narrative that captivated audiences worldwide in the original 2019 film.
