Veteran WWE wrestler and actor John Cena met Shah Rukh Khan at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding celebrations in July. Recently, he spoke about being ‘amazed and starstruck’ after meeting the Bollywood actor, who has a massive fan following across the world. John also shared his experience of trying the spicy Indian street food.

Recalling his experience of meeting Shah Rukh, Cena said ANI“It was such an emotional moment when you could shake hands with someone who impacts your life so much and tell them what they did. He was amazing. He couldn’t have been more empathetic and kind and sharing. It was really wonderful. It was amazing. I was amazed, starstruck. It was fantastic.”

During the conversation, Cena spoke about how Shah Rukh influenced his life and inspired him to work hard through his TED Talk.

The 47-year-old actor said, “He (Shahrukh) did a TED Talk which I found at the right time in my life, and his words were inspiring to me. They helped change my life. And since that change, I have been able to recognise all the jackpots that have been given to me, and be grateful and work hard to make sure I don’t waste them.”

Earlier, after attending the wedding ceremony of Anant and Radhika, John Cena shared a photo of himself with Shahrukh Posted on social media. Along with this he wrote, “Amazing 24 hours. Very grateful to the Ambani family for their unmatched warmth and hospitality. The experience was filled with many unforgettable moments that gave me the opportunity to connect with countless new friends, including meeting @iamsrk and telling him in person what a positive impact he has had on my life.”

The food here Anant and Radhika’s wedding function One of the highlights of the week-long festivities was the Indian cuisine. Talking about it, the wrestler-turned-actor said, “The Ambani wedding had its own variety of cuisines, but they also served great Indian food and Indian street food. The food was fantastic. I stayed here for a short while, which means I would like to go back and try some Indian food. The spice level was just enough for me, just enough to make me sweat a little. So, I can’t wait to test my spice meter when I get back.”

John Cena concluded by saying that he is looking forward to returning to India soon.

Meanwhile, he will soon be seen in the Prime Video film Jackpot, which also stars Awkwafina in the lead role.
