Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar shared a post on Instagram and said that his account has been hacked. Akhtar clarified that the post about the Indian Olympic team that appeared on his account was not written by him but was posted by hackers.
In his post, Javed Akhtar expressed concern over a message posted from his account about the Indian team participating in the Paris 2024 Olympics, and clarified that it was “completely harmless” but he had not sent it. He stressed that he is in the process of reporting the hack to the relevant authorities.
“My X ID has been hacked. A message has come from my account regarding our Indian team for the Olympics. It is completely harmless, but I did not send it. We are in the process of complaining to the relevant authorities at X.”
