Pop star Olivia Rodrigo and British actor Louis Partrid have provoked the rumors of engagement after being spotted simultaneously in Los Angeles on August 10, 2025. The couple, who have been dating for two years, were seen walking with hand in hand, in which Rodrigo wore a big diamond ring on his engagement finger.
According to the Daily Mail, the ring has quickly become a matter of Hollywood. While neither Rodrigo nor Partrid have confirmed this news, Nazar has assured the fans that the couple may have taken their relationship to the next level.
From London to Los Angeles: two years romance
Oleivia Rodrigo and Louis Partrid were first added in October 2023 when they were seen in their hometown, London. Since then, they have performed several public demonstrations simultaneously, including the 67th annual Grammy Awards, 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party, and most recently, the Wimbledon Tennis tournaments, where they were seen kissing in the stand.
Partrid, known for his role in the FX Series Pistol, was first linked to actor Sydney Chandler. Rodrigo has dated the record producer Zack Biya and actor Ethan Waker in the past.
Here fans feel that there may be an engagement
There was speculation about their engagement long before Los Angeles exit. Fans have added Rodrigo’s song So American, released from Partridge in 2024 on their album faction (Spild). The track includes songs: “And he says that I am very American / Oh God, I am going to marry her / If he keeps this shit up.”
During the set of its Glstonbury Festival in June 2025, Rodrigo shared how Partrid inspired the song. He told the crowd: “One thing you should know about me that I am F-ING Love England, I love England very much. As it will be in luck, I really love English boys.
Despite the increasing discussion, the couple have not commented on rumors. Rodrigo and Partrid are known to keep their relationship private, making fans even more curious.
