Hollywood actress Amy Poehler is back to voice Joy in the sequel of the popular Pixar animated film ‘Inside Out 2’. In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, the actress spoke about moving to India, feeling happy for the first time and how she deals with anxiety.

Speaking to us, Amy revealed that visiting India is on her wish list. She said, “Thank you to everyone who supported the film in India. We hope you like the next film and I am looking forward to visiting your country someday. It is on my wish list.”

Known for her lively and energetic performances, Poehler continues to bring depth and humor to the role, exploring new emotional adventures within the now-teenaged Riley.

Talking about her earliest memory of feeling happy, Amy told India Today, “Maybe it was around candy or animals. When you’re a kid, you really create a lot of happiness. You’re looking for fun. So, I think one of my earliest memories was playing, and when the ice cream truck would deliver ice cream and you’d hear the sound, it was just crazy. I think it was simple things that made me happy.”

The new film introduces a lot of new emotions to Riley, including ‘anxiety’. When asked what her trick is to deal with it, Amy said, “Anxiety brings up a lot of emotions and everyone wants it to go away, but it doesn’t, which is also the theme of the film. You can’t tell it to stop worrying, you can’t try to bypass it. You just have to say hello to it. Make some space for it and be like ‘thank you for the service’ and then try to pull it away from the control before it actually stops you.”
