The release of the much-awaited series Citadel: Honey Bunny is just around the corner. Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are set to join the Citadel universe with this Indian spinoff. Recently a special screening of the show was held which was attended by many celebrities. Inside pictures from the event have now surfaced, showing the lead pair glowing with happiness. Shahid Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and others were also a part of the night.
The official Instagram handle of Prime Video India shared a series of glimpses of the special screening of Citadel: Honey Bunny, which took place in Mumbai on November 4, 2024. The first slide showed Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu laughing. The actor wore a black suit, while his co-star looked stunning in a silver outfit. In another picture, Varun was seen with director duo Raj and DK.
Aditya Roy Kapur was also present during the screening and was seen with a big smile. Samantha posed for a picture with Kashvi Majmundar, who plays young Nadia in the series. Varun was captured in conversation with Shahid Kapoor. The cast had some other happy moments.
Nimrat Kaur, Nargis Fakhri, Vikramaditya Motwane, Rasika Duggal, Arjun Kapoor, Neha Dhupia and others also attended the event.

Fans showered love on the star cast of the show and other celebrities present at the special screening. One person said, “Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shahid Kapoor heartthrobs,” while another wrote, “@samantharuthprabhoff killer as always.” One comment read, “They all looked beautiful.” Many others left red heart and fire emojis.
Varun Dhawan plays the role of stuntman Bunny, while Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays a struggling actress. The pair are part of a secret spy agency. Citadel: Honey Bunny also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar and Shivankit Parihar.
The series is produced by D2R Films and Amazon MGM Studios. Executive produced by AGBO and Raj & DK of The Russo Brothers, it will release on November 7 on Amazon Prime Video.
