The Infinix Note 40 5G is all set to launch in India on July 21. After the success of the Infinix Note 40 Pro, the company will launch its standard variant in the coming days. According to Infinix, the device is the first smartphone in the country to offer a combination of a 120 Hz AMOLED display with wireless charging. The device is also the first smartphone in the segment to feature a 108-megapixel triple camera with unique AI voice-activated halo lighting. The Infinix Note 40 is already listed on Flipkart and is offering an EMI deal of Rs 1,333 per month.

The price of the Infinix Note 40 has not been revealed yet, but it is certain that the device will be priced between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000. The smartphone will hit the market in two different colors; Titan Gold and Obsidian Black.

The device comes with 256 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM. The RAM can be expanded up to 16 GB. The Infinix Note 40 is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7020 5G chipset. Let’s learn more about the device.

Infinix Note 40: Display

The Infinix Note 40 5G sports a 120Hz 6.78″ FHD+ AMOLED display. With a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, the device offers a large display with ultra-narrow bezels. The phone is equipped with in-display fingerprint unlocking and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

AI voice-activated halo lighting

Powered by the latest AI technology, the Active Halo features on the camera panel and uses 256 steps of controllable current to create subtle colour changes in fractions of a second, which can be used to illuminate various use-case scenarios such as charging, notifications and playing music.

Camera Details

The Infinix Note 40 has a 108-megapixel triple rear camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The device will have several other camera modes like Portrait, Super Night Mode and Dual Video and features like Sky Shop and AR Shot to enhance the camera experience.

Battery and Wireless Charging

The Infinix Note 40 5G comes with a powerful 5000 mAh battery, with an improved battery life of 1600 cycles and a 33W multimode wired fast charger, enabling you to choose between low temperature, smart, and hyper charging.

The Infinix Note 40 5G gives its users a wireless charging experience like never before. The phone supports wireless charging up to 15W. To enable wireless charging, a MagPad and a MagCase are provided in the box for a limited period.

The MagPad has a light and slim design, weighing 53 grams and measuring 6.9mm thick. It is made of zinc alloy metal. A magnetic coil is placed within the MagCase to hold the device in the correct position on the MagPad, without compromising the slim design of the device.
