Singer and composer Gurdas Maan is a well-known name in the Punjabi music industry. In a recent conversation with India Today Digital, the artiste opened up about his music, plans to make a biopic and his special bond with Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh.

Talking to us about her love for Diljit Dosanjh, Maan said, “Everyone knows my love for Diljit. He is a special person and someone who is extremely talented and lovely. I am very happy in his eyes. How much respect I see for you.” It feels great to see the love he gets from his audience. If that happens then I would like him (Amar Singh) in Chamkila to be someone who would introduce my own biopic to anyone.”

“If it happens naturally or someone comes to me with a story like that, then why not? What matters to me is that I want to continue making good music and make sure that I Just give the fans what they expect from me.” He added.

When asked what kind of legacy the singer wants to leave, he said, “For me, apart from my love for music, the most important thing is the love of my fans. Whatever I am today is because people love me so much. Ultimately, what matters is that people remember your work because it is the recall value and appreciation of your work that translates into the legacy you leave behind. Remembering how a particular artist would sing or perform on stage and constantly feeling the need to experience that feeling is what I consider leaving a legacy behind, Gurdas Maan signed.
