When it comes to South Indian food, no one can help but refer to our beloved dosa. For many people, Dosa is one of the most comfortable food that can be any time of the day. In addition, with different varieties and instantaneous methods, we can easily make it at home and prepare a South Indian feast in no time. However, if you are one of those who traditionally prefer to prepare things, then we are sure you should be equipped with the method of making dosa batsmen. But, if you plan to make a different kind of dosa this time, then let us tell you that you have to change the traditional dosa batsman. For example, when preparing Rava Dosa, the batsman has to be slightly thinner to achieve that perfect texture. But even achieving ideal stability can be a task. Therefore, if you want to know how to make the right rava dosa, we have some suggestions that you can follow. See them below:

4 tips to make Rao Dosa:

1. Make a thin batsman

When you start preparing for the batsman, be sure to keep the stability thin. To check for stability, you can either take a spoon in your batsman, or you can stick the batsman from the back of the ladle, and when it falls, you can check the stability.

2. Shake the batsman before cooking

Since Dosa is made with rava, it can soak water. When this happens, the batsman becomes heavy from below, and stability cannot be uniform. Therefore, before you put a batsman on Tawa, shake it once and make sure that the texture is thin.

3. Cook on non-stick pan

It is always better to cook on a non-stick (especially if you are trying to make a rava dosa for the first time). This is because there may be a chance that your batsman gets stuck to the bottom if there is no proper oil. Therefore, when you cook on a non-stick pan, it may be less likely to happen.

4. Heat the griddle

Before putting the batsman, heat the Tawa once. Then sprinkle some water and spread all around the griddle so that the rava becomes a texture for the dosa. To make it crisp, it is always advisable to cook it on medium flame!
