Hari Hara Veera Mallu Review: Movie fails to give an epic experience despite Pawan Kalyan’s star power

Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Talwar vs Spirit is a swashbuckling period epic with Pawan Kalyan’s main role. It marks a lot of time after the actor-consentor’s return to the big screen and was released on July 24, 2025 after several sites.

If you are planning to watch a film in theaters this week, then there is a Pinkvilla review for you here.

Plot

Hari Hara Veera Mallu has the story of Veera Mallu, a robber similar to Robin Hood. Initially the recruitment by the king of Kollur affects Qutub Shah, who handed over to Koh-e-Noor from Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb with a mission to recover.

Thus there is an alternative historical perspective, in which the missions of recurring diamonds and elements of individual vendetta are deeply embedded within it. Will Veera Mallu be successful in his mission, and what emotional mark he has within himself creates the whole story.

Good

Pawan Kalyan will otherwise be the biggest Techway from a decreased film. The actor fully presents his character, creating some powerful moments in his adventure story. As the actor-consentor is full of gravitas, he owns the screen with flair, making some Gozbump-World scenes.

Hhvm makes its style and presentation unique, action choreography that followed it. The energy and raw intensity from the film is that which makes the first half of the film out of the rest of the stories.

Coming to technical aspects, MM Kerwani tries his best to catch the fort with his music skills. While most Soundtrack RRRs do not challenge music composer to a greater extent, he manages to do a proper work for his name.

In addition, everyone’s eyesight will be a description that was making the set as grand as possible. The efforts made by the production team in creating such settings are to be appreciated. The cinematography by Gyan Shaker and Manoj Paramahamsa gives an additional personality to the film.

bad

Hari Hara Veera Mallu, in a word, can be described as “tone-def”. The problem with this epic film is that it overlines Pawan Kalyan to do the work, while the rest of the aspects take backseat.

However, it has been given that the power star is known for his massive look and spirit-up dialogues, which does not cut a good film alone. Hari Hara Veera Mallu lacks the originality that it claims and is not epic like other people in almost the same style.

The problem is largely inconsistent screenplay and lazy execution by manufacturers. Since the characters do not develop much with an arc, the film seems to suffer from an identity crisis.

While it begins as a swashbuckling action film, it changes an alternative history film and a heest flick. With all these styles in a single film, no aspect is being discovered for its full potential.

Apart from Veera Mallu, every other character is written in this script. However, the one who makes frightening to see is a comic dialogue in the wrong areas that ask what they are seeing once again.

Since such poor execution and stretch-out filler sequences are thinner, Hari Hara Veera Mallu suffers from a franchise problem. Like many recent films, it is also behind discovering more aspects of the film for a sequel, which has tested the patience to the film.

With old punchline, poor editing and terrible VFX, wind welfare starrer feels more like a core than a pleasant watch. Additionally, the title card like Leo is reaching a saturation point, even near the film.

Display

Hari Hara uses the star power of Veera Mallu Pawan Kalyan completely. The actor’s inclusion may not be the role of a stones, but it is worth working for his screen appearance.

While Bobby Deol was asked to him, Nidhi Egarwal manages to create a impression on the screen to some extent, but still decreases with a character’s perspective.

Decision

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is neither an epic nor a full -term adventure. For fans of Pawan Kalyan, this can be a chance to see him in a new character, and you can see it once in theaters.
