The 23 June episode of General Hospital had emotional confrontation, major decisions and a press conference which did not happen as per the plan. Willow informed Michael about his engagement to Drew, while Carley, Neena and Michael debated their future with children. Meanwhile, tension between Tracy and Drew increased, leading to a major turn in the city hall.
Willo tells Michael about his wedding plans
In the metro court courtyard, Carley and Michael discussed the naming of Daisy, but Michael looked distracted. He admitted that he was struggling with guilt about Willow, especially while celebrating a new member of the family, about losing his children’s custody. Carly assured him that he did nothing wrong and reminded him to convince his new child.
Later, Willow visited Michael at the Quartermine Haveli and revealed that she plans to marry Drew. He explained that Martin advised it as a legal strategy to regain visiting rights. Michael was surprised, and in the first day, told Carly that he would never let Drew be a part of his children’s lives.
Carly and Nina later discussed the same concern, Neena warned that Carley attended the Willow wedding. Nina suggested that they plan a proper wedding to avoid looking like a legal stunt.
Curtis escaped in Jordan, and reminded of an old case. Meanwhile, Portia told Isaiah about Kurtis about spending time with Jordan, especially in the pool. Isaiah encouraged Portia to focus on herself and take time out to enjoy life again.
Curtis eventually left to meet Tina, who told her that Kai had accepted an internship with Drew. Tina shared her concern about her mother’s safety, and Curtis admitted that she was trying to track Jasinda, a woman involved in the Ketamine case of Drew.
Kai, now working with Drew, assured Tina that he wanted to live in Port Charles and hope that Drew will prove himself. But Tina was careful with the influence of Drew.
Tracy publicly rejects Drew’s claim called Quartermine
At the press conference, Drew announced that the quartermen had decided to privately handle the controversy and encouraged PCPD to give up the allegations against Tracy. However, when Tracy stepped on the podium, she refused to follow the finished script.
Instead, he announced that the Drew Quartermine is not worth the name, he admitted that he implicated him, and said he should be removed from the office as if Monica expelled him out of the house.
