Disney has announced a sequel to the classic 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada. Starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, the film has left its mark on the pages of Hollywood forever. Ever since the announcement of Part 2, fans have been eagerly waiting for the trio to return to the screen. However, so far none of the original cast members have confirmed their appearance.
Meanwhile, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner is thinking about working in the remake of the iconic film. In a conversation with Elle, when the actress was asked if she would like to sign up for the film, Turner instantly told the host a yes.
What did Sophie Turner say about wanting to play a character in The Devil Wears Prada sequel?
While speaking to the Elle outlet, Sophie Turner claimed that she is interested in being cast in The Devil Wears Prada sequel. The actress said, When Turner was asked which character she would like to play, the Hollywood star named Emily Blunt. The English actress revealed, “Yeah! Oh my god. I think I would like to be like Emily Blunt’s character. Or like one of Miranda Priestly’s henchmen – well, like Emily Blunt (in the first film). Oh my god. I can’t wait for that movie. Cast me! I’m free!”
Speaking about the sequel, Anne Hathaway told E! News that the second part would be a completely new story, as a sequel is not possible. Reports have suggested that Streep may reprise her role as Miranda Priestly, while Blunt and The Idea of You’s characters are yet to be decided.
According to the media portal, Hathaway revealed that one of the reasons why The Devil Wears Prada became a hit was because the actresses had a great rapport with each other on the sets.
“What made the movie feel so special was because we were a team and we did that work, but it’s really just the love that everybody put into it,” the Intern actress said.

What will The Devil Wears Prada sequel be about?
The makers of the sequel to the 2006 film have revealed that the story of Part 2 will once again revolve around Miranda Priestly and her followers working together to bring the fashion magazine back to the top spot after it faces a major fall.
The synopsis reads, “This groundbreaking sequel focuses on Miranda as she confronts the collapse of her once-prosperous magazine publishing business. In fact, the only person who can save her is her former assistant, Blunt’s Emily Charlton, now a high-powered executive at a luxury fashion conglomerate, according to Puck.”
The makers of The Devil Wears Prada 2 are yet to announce the release date of the film.
