Designers Duo Falguni and Shane Peacock performed their latest collections, ‘Ashen rose,’ Ongoing Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI on 3.

Filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Tamannaah Bhatia stepped on the ramp for the famous Cuturirs, who are known for their glamorous and extraordinary design sensations. In the show, the model ran the ramp clad in a cropped jacket with a razor-sharp tailoring, power-shielded minis, winged overcoats and ornate gowns. This is essentially a display of the statement – it is said to be layered, interconnected and re -prepared.

During Fashion Week, Falguni and Shane spoke Today India About the inspiration behind his latest collection, to see new elements, and his emphasis on permanent fashion.

What was the inspiration behind this year’s collection?

This collection is a renovation of our brand’s DNA -Apamilia, yet completely new. We have taken the signature elements that define us – silhouette, complex ornamentation, glamor – and gave them a new perspective. It is about development rather than reinforcement, Phalguni pushed the boundaries of what we have done while being right for the essence of Shane Peacock. Every detail, from embroidery to form, carries our signature but in a way that seems unexpected, modern and undeniably powerful.

Falguni Shane Peacock is synonymous with glamor. How did you play for 2025?

Glamor is in our DNA, but for this collection, we have taken it a higher. This makes our signature on beauty but with such elements that increase the play even further. Think of exaggerated ratio, unexpected texture and statement details that push the boundaries. Every piece is designed to pay attention, to make sure that the wearer is the owner of the room they move!

What is the piece of a statement from this collection that you think will define the weather?

Instead of a single organization, it is a specific element – trousers. In this season, we have re -defined the role of trousers in women’swear. These trousers challenge traditional style. Those versatile are yet powerful, proving that the pants can be transformative in the form of any cotto gown.

From wings to ornamentation, your signature is infallible. How did you strengthen it this time?

What we do is reinforcement in the heart. We like to take our signatures elements- each collection bears a piece of our past, but always through a new lens, is rebuilt with unexpected details and modern craftsmanship. This time is no different. You will look at familiar elements, but in those ways you will not expect. We can all say see weight and shows. You will know what we mean.

Your designs have caught international red carpets. Do global fashion trends affect this collection in any way?

We do not follow the trends – we create experience. In Falguni Shane Peacock, we never go out to chase what is “in”. Instead, we focus on advancing borders, crafting those pieces that feel unique, out of the box and unnaturally us. Every collection is a deep dive in creativity, designed to give something to the wearer that they have never experienced before – some exquisite, some unmatched. And when he resonates on global red carpets, it is not because we have followed a tendency – this is because we are right for our vision.

With OTT fashion on growth, how do you ensure that your design remains both extraordinary and elegant?

There is no need to resist wastage and elegance – they can, and, co -existence. Our RTW and advanced contemporary editing are designed to bring a cotto-level drama to wear everyday-the pieces that are still wearable, striking are still sophisticated. It is all about balance. We combine the statement-making details with easy silhouettes, ensuring that our designs originally transition from 9 to 9 am. Whether it is a properly ornamentation with an edge or power stitching with a fluid fabric, we make sure that extraordinary seems natural, never overdone and looks elegant.

The stability is a growing focus in the industry. How have you included a conscious design in this year’s show?

We believe that stability is the only way to move forward. In Falguni Shane More, we are constantly working towards making our processes more responsible. When we are trying to be 100% durable, we have already integrated the 3R approach – reduce, recycle and recycle in our production and operation. We ensure that we only use what is necessary, avoid additional purchases. We use as much as possible, making sure that nothing is wasted. And we recycle the materials left behind in the production process, which gives them a new life. We are committed to making fashion with full purpose.

If you had to describe Falguni Shane Peacock Muse for 2025, would the three qualities define him?

He is FSP -incompatible and fierce, strong and positive. Fearless, because she moves through life with the same bold energy as our logo of panther – unplouned, unaccredited and always ready to take certains risks. Strong, because she trusts her tendency, likes herself and never wait for permission to stand out. And positive, because she believes in the power of possibility, to say yes to new experiences and embrace life with an invincible spirit. She does not follow the trends – she defines them on their terms.

Cooperation has become a discussion in fashion. If you can cooperate with an artist or designer, who will it be and why?

Banky -Because fashion, like art, should be challenged, interrupted, and the idea should be provoked. Banky’s ability to sabotage, storytelling and the ability to create effects through striking views align with the way we designed. Such a collaboration will be a meeting of two worlds: raw, stimulating energy of road art and careful, high-glamor accuracy of cottures. This will be a dialogue, a movement and a statement that fashion is as much as it is about the form.

Fashion Week is about advancing all boundaries. Is there a bold fashion rule that you think people should break this season?

The idea that fashion does not have rules. Fashion, for us, is about breaking all molds. We have always made personality champions. Forget “DOS” and “Dons” that you have told and do what he speaks to you. It is too small to mix in life, so stand out in this way that you find authentic. Because the best style is not about following trends – it’s about making your own!
