Rashmika Mandanna is enjoying the fame of her film Pushpa 2: The Rule starring Allu Arjun. The actress, who has a film titled The Girlfriend in the pipeline, was asked about her rumored boyfriend Vijay Deverakonda providing the voice-over narration for the film’s teaser in an exclusive interview of Pinkvilla Masterclass.
Responding to the same, Rashmika Mandanna said, “It’s an interesting thing because, first of all, she is not in the film. He has supported us with his voice, but the interesting thing is that he actually cut this teaser for my birthday. I didn’t know he had given voice over. It was a surprise for me.”
“When I got the teaser a few days ago and saw it, I thought wait… it’s Vijay’s voice. What is happening? I think it has added a magical element to the teaser because it has music, visuals and direction but his voice has made it more beautiful,” said the actress.

Talking more about the film The Girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna talked about how exciting the film is for her as an actor. Since the film marks her first time starring in a woman-centric film, Rashmika shared that she always wanted to work on such a project, which tells an important story.
The actress said she wanted to do the same while playing characters like Srivalli in Pushpa or playing the lead role in films like Salman Khan starrer Sikandar. The actress also said, “This film is what I did for my soul. It makes me happy, it makes me proud of myself and it makes me extremely proud of my art. I can’t tell much about the story but it is a very special film.
For those unaware, the film, The Girlfriend starring Rashmika Mandanna and Dixit Shetty in the lead roles, released its teaser a few days ago. The film, directed by Rahul Ravindran, also stars Rao Ramesh, Rohini and many others in lead roles.
