On Tuesday, July 16, Roberts announced her engagement to John on Instagram, with the two posing for the camera while the Madame Web actress showed off her large diamond studded engagement ring. She wore a pink flowy dress and had her arm around John’s neck, who wore a plain blue shirt.
Surprisingly, her quirky caption gave a shoutout to her mom! “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone,” she wrote alongside a red heart emoji. John and Roberts have been giving couple goals ever since they launched their relationship on Instagram in August 2022 – when John posted a dreamy photo of them kissing on a yacht.
Since then, he hasn’t shied away from posting sentimental photos of his girlfriend and now fiancée. John’s Instagram feed is filled with quite a few photos, most of which are dedicated to the Wild Child actress. On her birthday this year, he posted a photo of Robert kissing her cheeks and captioned it “Happy Birthday, Teeny Teeny” with a melting face emoji!
The actress previously dated Garrett Hedlund, with whom she shares son Rhodes, born in December 2020.
