The CMF, the sub-brand of the Consumer Tech Company is determined for a major change in operations with the company, which confirms the plan to transfer its global marketing ceremony in India. Anything announced by any co-founder and India President Akis Evengelidis, is a major step in the brand’s ambition to develop CMF in a global-recognized name for the world.
This decision keeps India at the center of CMF’s Next Growth Chapter, in which the Gurgaon office has become a new basis for many global roles. Job listing has already been live for major positions, including heads of global product marketing, social media, PR and content creation, which are all located in Gurgaon.
Evengelidis stated that this change was inspired by both strategic needs and long -term vision. He said that this step will help the company to work faster and will help stay close to the market that is most important for the brand trajectory.
“With CMF, we have a real opportunity to make something really different and important. This transition will help us move faster, stay closer and build a strong foundation in CMF’s most important market – he will define his next stage of development,” he said.
CMF is known to offer price-focused products with focus on design. The brand has a good portfolio, including earbuds to smart accessories and phones. Shifts are expected to help the brand act more quickly on local insights, campaigning with low turnaround time, and more closely aligning product development with what Indian consumers want.
Commenting on the announcement, the founder of nothing, Karl Pei said, “We are turning the global marketing of CMF into India, the most important and fastest growing market. India is playing an important role in the future of consumer technology, and we are excited to build in India – for the world.”
This is not the first time that nothing has shown faith in India. The company already produces a large part of its hardware in the country, and this latest step forwards the role of India, not only as a manufacturing center, but as a center for brand leadership and innovation.
This decision also shows the trend of a large industry, where India is emerging more than just one consumer base. With government initiatives such as Make in India and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, many technical companies attract global investments, many technical companies are now betting on India as a global operating basis.
