Mammootty-starrer Dominic and the Lady’s Purse was released in theaters on January 23, 2025. Now, 11 months after its theatrical release, the film is about to start streaming on OTT.

Dominic and the Lady’s Purse is scheduled to stream on OTT platform ZEE5 from December 19, 2025. The official update was shared by the production company through a social media post.
Sharing the announcement, the makers wrote, “The most awaited film is here!!! Dominic and the Lady’s Purse to premiere on 19th on ZEE5 Malayalam.”

Dominic and the Lady’s Purse is the story of CI Dominic, a seasoned former police officer, who runs a detective agency with his dedicated associate Vignesh aka Vicky.
Often confined to mundane tasks, the two are assigned a new case: to find the owner of a woman’s purse. However, as they go deeper, they discover that the purse belongs to Pooja, who is believed to be missing by a woman, prompting their investigation.
As they follow the trail and descend the rabbit hole, Dominic and Vicky must uncover the truth behind the mysterious purse and identify the real culprit in a twisted case, all presented with a humorous narrative.

Dominic and the Lady’s Purse stars Mammootty in the lead role, starring Gokul Suresh, Sushmita Bhat, Viji Venkatesh, Siddique, Vineeth, Vijay Babu, Meenakshi Unnikrishnan, Shine Tom Chacko, Balachandran Chullikkad, Suresh Krishna, Lena, Wafa Khatija Rehman and many more in lead roles.
Directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon, he has co-written this film with Neeraj Rajan and Sooraj Rajan. It is produced by Mammootty under the banner Mammootty Kampani, with the musical track and background score composed by Darbuka Siva.
Vishnu Dev took charge of the cinematography, while Anthony served as the editor. The mystery-comedy film received mixed reviews from critics.
Interestingly, Dominic and the Lady’s Purse marks Gautham Vasudev Menon’s directorial debut in Malayalam cinema.
