‘Do Deewane Shehr Mein’ starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles has collected around Rs. On the first Monday, this figure reached 60 lakh, registering a decline of 55 percent compared to Sunday. The decline compared to Friday is about 50 percent. Both of them are considered to have a good grip but that is why the films are making good collections on Friday. For a film like DDSM, which barely made Rs 1 crore on Friday, it should be better than that or at least equal to that on Monday.

The film needs to show strong trends going forward and make a healthy jump in the second weekend to have a chance at the box office. At the moment, the film is heading towards a disappointing dramatic ending. One positive for the Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer is that it has done well for a few weeks leading up to the release of Dhurandhar and Toxic.
