Director AR Murugados is ready for the release of Madrasi, his next Tamil film, in which Shivkartikeyan played the lead role. As part of the promotion, the director was seen at a program, where he felt that Salman Khan was indicated by starrer Alexander’s failure due to his inability to understand Hindi.
Arugados about Salman Khan’s Alexander’s failure
Talking about his recent enterprise, director R. Murugados said, “When we make films in our mother tongue, it gives us strength. We know what is happening here. Today, a tendency is going on and suddenly the audience is connected to that trend.”
“When we move the language, we do not know what the youth are enjoying in that language. We need a script to believe this,” the director said.
Given how it feels to work in other languages, Murugados revealed that it is easy for him to understand Telugu, but he does not know Hindi at all.
The filmmaker continued, “For once, I can take Telugu movies, but Hindi cannot work for us because after writing the script, they translate it into English. Then it is re -translated into Hindi. When you make a film in an unknown language and place, it seems that you are a hurdle. It is a hurdle. It’s not like you are.”

After Alexander’s failure, director AR Murugadoss’s next film Shivkarthikayan will be Madarasi. The action thriller has been slated to release on 5 September, 2025, earlier with single, Salambala, released on 31 July, composed by Anirudh Ravichender.
