Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been certified A by the Central Board of Film Certification after editing. The film will premiere on March 18 and have a wide release on March 19 during the Eid weekend.

Ranveer Singh’s much awaited film, Dhurandhar: RevengeIt received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, a day before its premiere on 18 March. According to the cuts list, approximately one minute and 34 seconds of scenes were removed along with other modifications.

Censor Board has listed 21 suggestions stalwart Manufacturers implemented. These revisions included adding a disclaimer for “disturbing content” and advising viewer discretion.

In the long list of cuts, the board has asked producers to mute abusive words and tone down violent scenes, including decapitation, kicking, hitting people with hammers and cement blocks. The board has also asked the manufacturers to change some unspecified wordings in the certificate.

Among the suggestions were the producers being asked to correct the demonetization dates in the subtitles. Director Aditya Dhar and team submitted an official permission letter to the board to allow the use of references to the Prime Minister and other news footage in the film.
