Deepika Padukone welcomed a baby girl with Ranveer Singh on September 8, 2024. Meanwhile, it is reported that the firm owned by the actress has bought a new apartment worth Rs 17.78 crore in Bandra West area of Mumbai.
According to a report published in News18 Showsha, Deepika Padukone and her father Prakash Padukone’s company KA Enterprises LLP recently bought a luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West area. The property is located in Sagar Silk Co-operative Housing Society near the iconic Bandstand.
The report further states that according to the documents obtained by Square Yards, the investment was worth Rs 17.78 crore. Moreover, it is also revealed that the newly purchased apartment is spread across 171.47 square metres (approximately 1,846 square feet) and also has space for car parking.
The deal was finalised by paying stamp duty of around Rs 1.07 crore and registration fee of Rs 30,000.
It is worth noting that a transaction related to this is linked to the actress’ mother-in-law and Ranveer Singh’s mother Anju Bhavnani. It is said that in September itself, an adjacent apartment was bought for Rs 19.13 crore.
The property is spread over a carpet area of 1,822.45 sq ft (approximately 169 sq m) and includes one car parking space. The deal involved a stamp duty of Rs 95.68 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.
Moreover, according to Zapkey.com, Ranveer Singh’s company RS Filmkraft (OPC) Pvt Ltd and Oh Five Oh Talent LLP leased the apartment located in the adjacent house from his mother on September 5, 2024. The rent of the apartment has been fixed at Rs 8.20 lakh per month for the first 33 months, which will be increased by 15 per cent to Rs 9.43 lakh for the remaining 22 months.
A security deposit of Rs 73.8 lakh was paid and stamp duty of Rs 1.29 lakh was also part of the agreement. The duration of the deal is 55 months. As per the leave and licence agreement, the authorised signatories are Ranveer’s sister Ritika and her husband Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani.
According to Square Yards, celebs like Aamir Khan, Tripti Dimri and KL Rahul as well as Athiya Shetty have bought properties in the same area.
