Deals: Google Pixel 10 Series, Watch 4 and Buds 2A are now on pre-order

Google opened a new chapter in the story of Pixel phone-the first models with TSMC-manufactured chipset are for pre-order. Three of the new models will start shipping next week, the foldable will not be out until the beginning of October. Prices are the same as last year, which is very good-even better, Amazon throws into a gift card with pre-order.

Google Pixel 10 is the first vanilla model for telephoto lenses. However, it loses a large 1/1.31 ”sensor in the high-resolution ultra-wide of the main and the pixel 9. The new model comes with $ 100 Amazon gift card. You can be wooed to get the old, but we will organize one or two weeks. Pixel 9 should return to MSRP. It should return after 10 launch.

Google Pixel 10 Pro offers a large gift card of $ 200. It leaves only $ 100 between 10 and 10 Pro, once the gift card is calculated in value. The Pro model has a large 1/1.31 ”main sensor and high-resolution ultra-wide (48MP vs. 13MP), as well as a better telephoto-5x zoom in ornaments, but it can go further with a 48MP sensor (vs.5MP).

The Pro model also gets a better Ltpo OLED display with a high resolution (1280p+ versus 1080p+). The chipset is the same for both, the tensor G5, but the Pro has more RAM (16 GB vs 12 GB). The battery is essentially the same (4,870mAh vs. 4,970mAh) with 30W wired charging – and the new generation is support for 15W magnetic Qi 2 charging and pixelsnap accessories.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL also gets a gift card of $ 200 and it is essentially an waste version of 10 Pro. It has a 6.8 “Ltpo display (1344p+) and 5,200mAh battery with a fast 45W wired and 25W QI2 charging. Note that this year there is no 128GB option – the cheapest Pro XL is now 256GB model.

Again, Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL are now on pre-order and will start shipping next week (nominal, on August 28, but the first units may come soon).

Samsung’s major series have been around for some time and have competitive prices. The Galaxy S25 is smaller than Pixel 10 with its 6.2 “Ltpo display and is also cheaper. It has Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip – we have not seen the Tensor G5 in action (properly, not anyway, but it shuts down the elite class. Vanilla Pixel’s 10.5mp 5X camera.

For battery endurance, the 4,000mAh cell inside the S25 puts it to a loss, but the Google’s tensor is yet to prove that it is able to walk efficiently. Oh, and if you want magnetic charging and accessories, you will need the correct case – it is not made in the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Pixel 10 Pro is around the same value of the 10 Pro XL – although the $ 200 gift card suggests the scales in favor of the Google phone. Which of the two is a better camera? It is a matter of future shootouts.

If you are more concerned with weight rather than height and width, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is 163g, 41g is also 41g lighter than “small” Pixel 10. This is despite the offer of a large 6.7 “1440p+ Ltpo display (vs 6.3” 1080p+). On the negative side, the 3,900mAh battery is 1,070mAh smaller than the pixel 10 battery. In addition, there is no dedicated telephoto lens – to zoom, you get what you get from the 200MP main.

Google also unveiled its next generation foldable, Pixel 10 Pro fold. It is the first foldable in the US with an IP68 rating, offering better dust resistance than the IP48 competition. However, as mentioned above, it will not ship until October 9, so it is probably very early to pre-order.

If you now need a horizontal foldable, the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 7. It is cheaper than Pixel and Pixel 10 is 10.8 mm/5.2 mm for Folds and quite thin and lighter than 258g – 8.9 mm/4.2 mm and 215g. You can also compare it with Pixel 10 Pro XL – it is 8.5 mm thick and its weight is 232 g. The capacity of the battery remains a weak point and is only 4,400mAh, compared to 5,015mAh for the Pixel 10 Pro fold.

Google also unveiled a new smartwatch, Google Pixel Watch 4 this week. It promises better battery life and health tracking than its predecessor. And, impressively, this satellite is the first smartwatch with SOS capabilities – you have to get the LTE model, however, which is $ 100. Nevertheless, you cannot put a price on peace of mind and it can change a dedicated satellite messaging device.

Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch 8 can not call for help on the 8 satellite, but it is quite thin – 8.6 mm vs 12.3 mm. Square design may not be for the taste of all, though. Note that Vanilla Watch 8 comes with a free Galaxy Smarttag 2, which can be used to track your accessories.

Alternatively, you can get Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. It is a unique hardware control, rotating bezel, but the inside screen for the 46 mm model is small on the small side – 1.34 “.

Another new accessory of this week is Google Pixel Buds 2A. Like the Watch 4 and Pixel folds, these will be available only from the beginning of October. They have active noise cancellation (ANC) and spatial audio support, but no wireless charging.
