Composer Anirudh Ravichander is excited about his upcoming release, Vettaiyaan with superstar Rajinikanth. In a recent interview RednulHe said that the film will be a different kind of film in Rajinikanth’s filmography. He assured that the story of Vettaiyaan is strong and since the audience these days likes such stories, he hopes that the film will be a hit.

The young musician said Vettaiyan as a film will have a deep impact on the society.

He said, “Jai Bhim is a film that I really liked. When Gnanavel sir came and narrated the story, I felt it would be a really new experience to have superstar Rajinikanth be a part of such a film. It will resonate with the emotions of today’s audience. We all are now liking films that have strong content, right? I believe Vettaiyan will create a huge impact as a film.”

He also said that Vettaiyaan will be a different film in Rajinikanth’s filmography. “Of course, the scale and reach of Vettaiyaan has increased manifold with the presence of the superstar. I also believe that it will be a completely different film in his filmography. Vettaiyaan has a strong story and audiences today are loving such films. I hope the same will happen with Vettaiyaan,” he said.

Vettaiyaan is directed by journalist-turned-director TJ Gnanavel, who has previously helmed films like Kootathil Oruthan and Jai Bhim. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film is set for a grand release on October 10.

The cast of Vettaiyaan includes Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh.
