Nushrarat Bharucha with Soha Ali Khan made waves with his recent release Churi 2. The film was released on Amazon Prime Video on 11 April 2025. Now, in the midst of this, the actress opened to deal with backlash on her visit to her temple despite being a Muslim and comments on her clothes. He said that it will not stop visiting temples or will not offer Namaz despite trolling.
In an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Nusharat Bharucha was asked whether people who had ever been Muslims or commenting on his clothes were criticized for going to temples. She agreed to achieve such criticisms. He said that he is based on his religion, faith, work option, his thinking and many more.
The Panchnama actress of love further said that the only way to deal with such criticism is to ‘really know herself’. He shared that no criticism can influence them if people believe in themselves and God.
Nusharat said that his relationship with God is deep and pure.
When asked if such comments harass her, she admitted that she was never affected by such comments because she believes that it is her point.
The actress of Chaudhary 2 said, “It does not change me. It is a matter of fact that the Mein Kaal Temple Nahi Jungi. It is a matter of fact that I am UK Bud Naamaj Nahi Padhungi. Mein Dono will be done. Kayanki is my faith.”
(It does not change who I am. It is not that I will not visit a temple tomorrow. And it is not that I will not offer Namaz later. I will do it both because I believe this).
Nusharat Bharucha also shared that her faith lies deeply, and she finds peace in all the places of worship. She regularly offers prayers and believes that there is a god with many paths to reach it.
On the work front, Nushratt was recently seen in Chhorii 2, which premiered on April 11, 2025 on Amazon Prime Video. She plays the lead role in the film as a witness. Apart from that, it also stars Soha Ali Khan, Saurabh Goyal, Gash Kashmir Mahajani, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Saren and Hardika Sharma.
