Starring War 2, Hrithik Roshan, Junior NTR and Kiara Advani, Ganesh Chaturthi in Hindi today crossed a mark of Rs 170 crore. Although the film should have made at least Rs 300 crore in Hindi alone, but it decreased by expectations and is ready to fly its dramatic run on the dismal note.
War 2 adds Rs 2.25 crore to Ganesh Chaturthi, Cum is near Rs 175 crore
Supported by Yash Raj Films, War 2 struggled with Cool at the box office. It was opened for a bad word-mouth, which immediately affected its business. While the Telugu version of War 2 crashed on the second day itself, the original version is still driving the wheel, only due to the sheer appearance of Hrithik Roshan. The film wrapped its early week for Rs 148.75 crore. It added around Rs 18 crore to Tally Rs 18 crore in the second weekend, to the net of Rs 166 crore.
The Spy Action Drama saw a decline on 2 Mondays and collected Rs 1.75 crore, after which it was Rs 2.10 crore on Tuesday. According to estimates, it added Rs 2.25 crore to the Cum on Ganesh Chaturthi today. The total box office of War 2 is now Rs 172.10 crore in Hindi.
Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR starrer are ending a net of about Rs 185 crore in Hindi. A big flop came out for the film production house.
