Border 2 is one of the biggest upcoming Bollywood films and fans cannot wait for it as it has been officially declared. During a special interview with Pinkvilla, lead actor Sunny Deol shared interesting details about his upcoming Magnum Ops and said it is set in 1971. Read.
Sunny Deol Pinkvilla joined a practical conversation about her upcoming films during Masterclass. When asked about his much awaited battle drama Border 2, the actor clearly shared the period in which Sunny also shared that he decided to do the sequel to the 1997 film as it had inspired many real -life army men to serve the country.
He said, “Manufacturers and writers have seen that we are clinging to the beauty that was Border 1,” he said that the film was set in 1971. The first part was based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war and it will be interesting to see what the audience gets to see in the sequel.
The border was directed by JP Dutta, but he came on board as a manufacturer for the sequel. Border 2 will be directed by Anurag Singh who has previously worked on the 2019 film Kesari. Apart from Sunny Deol, the film also stars young stars like Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanj and Ahaan Shetty. When we shared that the film is expected to be magical with new energy, Sunny said that she hopes. “We are going to perform our best and I hope we are satisfied, we live up to ourselves and people appreciate it,” he concluded.
Earlier in February, Varun Dhawan took to Instagram stories and shared a picture of his curved hand with fans. Stating that he was hurt on the set of Border 2, the actor wrote, “Some of the many injuries this week. War is not easy.”
Meanwhile, Sunny Deol is currently ready for the release of her much awaited actioner JAT. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Randip Hooda is seen as an opponent in the film. Apart from Jat and Border 2, Sunny Lahore will be seen in 1947 and Ramayana.
