During a public event, a video of Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh, who touched the waist of co-actor Anjali Raghav, has gone viral on social media. Both were participating in a promotional program for Pawan’s new song ‘Sia Seva Kar’, including Anjali.

The viral video features Anjali, who wore a golden saree, looked uncomfortable as the actor touches her on the pretext of removing something clinging to the waist. He is heard saying that he saw something (possibly an insect) because he still asks him to stay. Although Anjali smiles strangely and does not object, internet users have criticized Pawan Singh for touching her without consent.

Many social media users expressed displeasure, expressing the actor’s behavior inappropriate.

On X, a user shared the video and called Pawan Singh. “Indian men do not know the concept of consent. And it gets worse in up-Bihar. This is the so-called Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh. Imagine what his fans will learn from him (SIC),” Read the post.

Another post reads, “What a disgusting and relaxed person he is! He did not feel embarrassed even in front of the public while doing such a low act. Are you not ashamed @Pavansingah 909? Anjali Raghav does not feel so uncomfortable that she is not slapping the stage (SIC).”

A third user blamed the actor for tarnishing the reputation of the Bhojpuri film industry. He wrote, “People like Pawan Singh defame the entire Bhojpuri community. They are unaware of how many young people affected by them are going down the wrong path, it is a shame (SIC).”

Meanwhile, despite the controversy, ‘Siya Seva Kare’ has been well received by fans since its release on 27 August, which has been viewed more than 3.6 million times and loves 201,000. In music video, Pawan Singh and Anjali Raghav depicted a married couple.
