As reported by ET Now, 16.6 crore shares will be in the block. The promoter entity currently holds 88.70% stake in Bajaj Housing Finance which holds over 739 crore equity shares.
Listed on September 16, 2024, Bajaj Housing Finance shares have fallen 23% in the last 12 months and are currently trading at Rs. Trading below their 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages of 109 and 116.
The stock is in a strong oversold zone with its MFI, near the 23-mark. A number below 30 is considered oversold while a number above 70 is considered overbought.
Bajaj Housing Finance’s Rs. 6,560 crore IPO created a lot of buzz around the time of its launch. The issue was subscribed 67.43 times with retail investors bidding about 7.4 times their quota. The company has set a price band of Rs. 66 to Rs. 70 per share was fixed.
In the quarter ended September, the company’s Rs. 643 crore as compared to the net profit recorded in the year-ago period of Rs. 546 crore, a jump of 18 percent. In the quarter under review, its revenue stood at Rs. 2,755 crore, which was Rs. 2,410 crore is 14% higher than Rs.
Profit after tax (PAT) in Q1FY26 was Rs. 583 crore, up 10% sequentially, while the topline grew 5.3% on a quarter-on-quarter basis against 2,616 crore reported in the April-June quarter of FY26.
The company reported its Net Interest Income (NII) in Q2FY26 at Rs. 956 crore as compared to Rs. 713 crores. Net interest margins (NIMs) stood at 4%, flat sequentially but down 10 bps compared to 4.1% in the year-ago period.
