Baida Review: Good story, Saurabh Raj Jain’s supernatural thriller
‘Baida’ is a supernatural thriller, but even with its good performances, it’s much less. The film includes Sudhanshu Rai, Hiten Tejwani and Saurabh Raj Jain, a story among others, which has the ability to entertain.

Release date: March 21, 2025
In ‘Bada’, a former intelligence officer is trapped in a world beyond the world in the world in which we live. There are all types of supernatural activities: his soul is being tortured, a powerful devil who knows science well, and a divine woman whose strength is in meditation. Directed by Puneet Sharma and written by Sudhanshu Rai, who is also the hero in the film, ‘Baida’ is not your common fictional thriller.
This is a bit more complex as much as you imagine it. In 1.44 hours, its length is not an issue. It has speed. As it begins, it takes about 35 minutes to establish its original struggle. We are introduced to our hero, villain, and the current and past of the horrors of the film, but we really do not know what the real problem is, for a long time in the story.
Actor Saurabh Raj Jain and journalist-actor-actor, Shobit Sujay, brings out the necessary enthusiasm in the film. While Jain leaves his Good-Shav Shri Krishna’s image behind, Sujay looks natural and comfortable. Both Hiten Tejwani and Tarun Khanna also leave a permanent impression.
‘Baida’ has decent performances, an impressive hook, a story with real -life settings and views that will manage to place you on the edge of the seat. And yet, it does not click anything about it – it can be low production quality or sudden editing, it can consider an independent, low -budget drama. Especially the climax, which ends in a snap, almost as soon as you find yourself paying attention. The villain should not have been easy to defeat, honestly.
The use of the camera angle and lighting does not add any value to its interesting concept. Rather, it takes away from it. The red is very red, and the green is very green. It adds to melodrama, but only one point shock appears.

Action from supernatural style is an attempt to bring comedy and complicated elements, but it does not make for a fully developed entertainment package despite all its abilities. Rai’s writing required more depth, perhaps other ideas in parts, and their acting required more nuances. A special scene in which he realizes his career, and he finally decides to be a detective, although standing out.
Rai and Sujay’s chemistry is the main attraction of the film, which is going on a lot. Especially in scenes when they are involved by a beautiful Manisha Rai.
Full digits for efforts, and an experimental concept. ‘Baida’ can be a casual watch for your weekend. The film is releasing in theaters on March 21.
