અમદાવાદ વિમાન દુર્ઘટના એક ફાયરપ્લેસ બની ગઈ હતી કે કૂતરાઓ અને પક્ષીઓ પણ અમદાવાદના વિમાન ક્રેશ પ્રાણીઓ અને પક્ષીઓ મૃત્યુ પામે છે: અહમદવાદમાં એર ઇન્ડિયા પ્લેન સ્થળ પર તાપમાન એટલું વધારે હતું કે બચાવ કામગીરી લગભગ અશક્ય હતી. અધિકારીઓએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે વિમાન 1.25 લાખ લિટર બળતણથી ભરેલું હતું, જે અકસ્માત પછી ઉગ્ર આગમાં ફેરવાઈ ગયું હતું અને તાપમાન 1000 ડિગ્રી સેલ્સિયસ સુધી પહોંચ્યું હતું. અધિકારીઓએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે વિમાન 1.25 લાખ લિટર બળતણથી ભરેલું હતું, જે અકસ્માત પછી ઉગ્ર આગમાં ફેરવાઈ ગયું હતું અને તાપમાન 1000 ડિગ્રી સેલ્સિયસ સુધી પહોંચ્યું હતું. વિમાન લંડન જઈ રહ્યું હતું અને ત્યાં કુલ 242 મુસાફરો અને ક્રૂ સભ્યો હતા. ટેકઓફના થોડી મિનિટો પછી, વિમાન અમદાવાદની અન્ય મેડિકલ કોલેજની છાત્રાલય અને રહેણાંક વિસ્તારોમાં ક્રેશ થયું. કેન્દ્રીય ગૃહ પ્રધાન અમિત શાહે કહ્યું, “વિમાનમાં 1.25 લાખ લિટર બળતણ હતું. તે સંપૂર્ણપણે સળગી ગયું હતું અને કોઈને બચાવવું અશક્ય હતું.” તેમણે કહ્યું કે અકસ્માતનાં દ્રશ્યો ખૂબ જ ભયાનક હતા. અહમદવાદ વિમાન એનિમલ ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા અબોલા પ્રાણીઓના દફન માટે કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું, જે ક્રેશ અકસ્માતમાં માર્યા ગયા હતા. (ફોટો: સોશિયલ મીડિયા) સ્ટેટ ડિઝાસ્ટર રિસ્પોન્સ ફોર્સ (એસડીઆરએફ) ના અધિકારીએ કહ્યું કે તેમની ટીમ 1 થી 2:30 વાગ્યાની વચ્ચે ઘટના સ્થળે પહોંચી ગઈ છે. તે પહેલાં, કેટલાક સ્થાનિકોએ કેટલાક લોકોને બહાર કા .્યા હતા, પરંતુ બચાવ ટીમને કોઈ જીવંત મળ્યો ન હતો. એક વરિષ્ઠ ફાયર અધિકારીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, “વિમાનની ટાંકીમાં એટલી આગ લાગી હતી કે તાપમાન તરત જ 1000 ડિગ્રી સેલ્સિયસ પર પહોંચી ગયું હતું. આવા તાપમાને કોઈ ટકી શકશે નહીં.” છે, પરંતુ તેણે પહેલાં આવી ભયંકર પરિસ્થિતિ ક્યારેય જોઇ ન હતી. તેમણે કહ્યું, “અમે પી.પી.ઇ. કીટ પહેરી હતી, પરંતુ ગરમી એટલી ભયંકર હતી કે ઓપરેશન અત્યંત મુશ્કેલ બન્યું. દરેક જગ્યાએ કાટમાળ સળગતું હતું.” અધિકારીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે તેમણે બાળકો સહિત 25-30 મૃતદેહોને દૂર કર્યા છે. મૃતદેહોને ફક્ત ડીએનએ પરીક્ષણ દ્વારા ઓળખવામાં આવશે. ઉપદેશકો અને પક્ષીઓ ટકી શક્યા નહીં. ઘટના સ્થળે મૃત કૂતરા અને પક્ષીઓ તરફ ઇશારો કરતા, તેમણે કહ્યું કે વિનાશ એટલો ભયંકર હતો કે કોઈને જીવન બચાવવા માટે સમય ન હતો. પોલીસે જણાવ્યું હતું કે 265 મૃતદેહોને સિવિલ હોસ્પિટલમાં લાવવામાં આવ્યા છે, પરંતુ સત્તાવાર મૃત્યુઆંકની ઘોષણા કરવામાં આવી નથી. આ અકસ્માતમાં, ફક્ત વિમાનના મુસાફરો જ નહીં પરંતુ મેડિકલ કોલેજની છાત્રાલયમાં હાજર વિદ્યાર્થીઓ, સ્ટાફ અને અન્ય લોકોનું પણ મોત નીપજ્યું છે.
