Ghee is sweet, heavy and cold and can balance the vata and pitta doshas. Here are three mistakes you should absolutely avoid for a happy and healthy gut system:

1. Mixing ghee with cold foods

You might think that consuming ghee in any form is beneficial, but it is not so. Ghee is heavy and sticky. According to the expert, ghee should always be followed by hot food or liquids. Consuming ghee with cold water or foods can cause indigestion and other digestive problems. To get the most out of this golden nectar, consume ghee with hot foods.

2. Ghee and honey

Do you eat ghee and honey together? It’s time to change your habit. According to experts, eating ghee and honey in equal quantities can cause many health problems and they are also not digested together. Instead, eat them separately for maximum benefits.

3. Consume ghee when there are toxins in the digestive system
