What is Chokha?

Chokha refers to a traditional dish that is made with roasted or boiled vegetables, as well as some major ingredients such as mustard oil, garlic, onion, green chillies and spices. The mash is then fragrant with mustard oil and served as a side or main dish. Chokha can be made using a variety of vegetables, such as potatoes, brinjals (brinjal), and tomatoes. Litti is a wheat flour ball that is filled with roasted gram flour and bettu, which is later baked and immersed in ghee. The combination of spicy chokha and smokey litti is heaven and a head in Bihari’s homes.
2. It beautifully complements soft, warm flatbreds, and the fickleness of the chokha brings out the taste of simple bread.
3. As a snack: This dish can be enjoyed as a breakfast on one side of the pickle and some fresh coriander leaves. Along with the flavor burst as well as a relaxing mash, it treats it an ideal evening or a snack for gate-leggles.
4. With rice: For a nutritious food, Aloe Enda Chokha can be served with plain boiled rice. Rice couple simplicity with bold flavor of Chokha, it makes a satisfactory lunch or dinner option.

How to make Anda Chokha

Recipe step:
1. Heat some mustard oil in hard (vok) and fry dry red chili until they crisp, then set them aside.
2. In the same oil, fry garlic and onion separately until they turn golden brown and fragrant, then set them aside.
3. In a bowl, crush the fried dried red chili with some salt and mix well.
4. Mash roasted garlic and onion together to create a smooth base.
5. Add boiled potatoes and mash them with garlic-jewelery paste.
6. Mash the boiled eggs into the mixture gently.
7. Add finely chopped green chili, onion and coriander leaves to a fresh touch. Pour the remaining oil with frying and mix well.
8. Serve and enjoy lively, delicious Elu Enda Chokha!
