At the pre-release event of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun praised his co-stars Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. Referring to Rashmika as his “home”, he praised her a lot and expressed his disappointment over Fahadh’s absence at all the pre-release events.

Allu Arjun came on stage at the Kochi pre-release event and greeted his fans by saying, “And Army, Namaskaram.” Overwhelmed by the love and positive response that Pushpa 2 has received at all its pre-release events, Arjun further added, “Lots of love from your adopted son Mallu Arjun.” He also expressed his gratitude for the love and support given to him by the Kerala audience over the last twenty years.

Allu Arjun on Fahadh Faasil

She then expressed her disappointment over the absence of her Pushpa co-actor Fahadh Faasil, wishing he was on stage with him. He said, ‘Fafa has rocked Pushpa 2 and will make every Mallu across the world proud.’ The Arya actor promised his fans that they won’t have to wait as long for his next film as they had to for Pushpa 2. He assured them of more frequent releases.

Allu Arjun on working with Rashmika Mandanna

Allu Arjun then talked about his leading lady Rashmika Mandanna – the national crush as he referred to her at the event. Praising her, he said, “My own Srivalli, Rashmika will ‘crush’ the entire nation this time. Everyone will crush on her once again this time.”

Arjun further explained how he has worked with her only as his ‘heroine’ for the last three years. He said, “You are the only heroine I look forward to on the sets. You have become home. Working with you is very comfortable, you make me feel like I am at home. Thank you so much for your support.” Thank you. Without you, Pushpa would not have been possible, and I would not have been able to perform without your support.” He finally said, “I will keep this love in my heart till the end. You made Pushpa very special.”

It’s all because of Sukumar: Allu Arjun

Addressing the audience at the Kochi pre-release event, Allu Arjun praised his director Sukumar. He said, “I would like to thank my director Sukumar to all my main technicians who started my life (career) here. In fact it was Sukumar who gave me Arya and that film started my market in Malayalam All credit goes to Arya and the love you have shown me since then, is all because of my director Sukumar.” He also thanked the audience on behalf of Sukumar, who was unable to attend the event due to post-production work on Pushpa 2.

Allu Arjun calls DSP his ‘rockstar friend’

Speaking about Devi Sri Prasad, Arjun said, “I would also like to sincerely thank Devi Sri Prasad, who is behind my superhit songs like Feel My Love, Banni Banni, Oo Antava, Sami Sami and Pushpa Se Srivalli. Pushpa 2, we have amazing tracks like Suseki and Pushpa, giving us so many unforgettable hits and entertaining the Malayalam audience with their incredible music. Thanks for doing.”

Pushpa 2: The Rule will release in theaters on December 5.
