After getting out of Deepika Padukone’s soul, Rana Daggubati weighed on the 8-hour work schedule in Telugu cinema

Deepika Padukone has been making headlines for a long time after the actress’s alleged Prabhas starrer Spirit. With the theme of taking a work-life balance, Rana Daggubati revealed how the 8-hour schedule is already present in Telugu cinema.

In an interview with Lallantop cinema, the Bahubali actor said, “This project depends on the individual and the field. For example, in Maharashtra, it is a 12 -hour shift, while Telugu cinema usually starts 8 hours at 7 am in Telugu cinema.”

“Everyone has a certain mindset, and the city also gives some things. You are looking at it as a normal statement – this is not. If you have to shoot on a set, it depends on how much preparation you need. There are films on a big spectacle, where only two shoots a day,” the actor said.

When the actors were forced to work for a long time in a film, Rana revealed that no one was forcing anyone to do so. The actor clarified how an actor who works only 4 hours a day can do more than those who do it for 8 hours, underlining that it is not a common subject.

For unknown people, Deepika Padukone had earlier estimated to exit the project spirit directed by Sandeep Reddy Wanga. According to reports, the actress and producers failed to reach a general conclusion in their dialogue, causing her to be dropped from the enterprise and raised it by Triptai Dimri.

Interestingly, the actress is now ready to appear in the lead role for Allu Arjun and Atley’s much awaited Magnum Ops AA22X A6. The announcement made by the manufacturers depicted her in a character like a warrior queen, which was expected to join 4 more major women.

Coming on the work front of Rana Daggubati, the actor was last seen in an acting role with Vettayan starring Rajinikanth. The action drama, which was released in 2024, played him as the main antagonist.

Moving forward, he soon agreed to resume his role in the second season of Netflix show Rana Naidu. The much awaited show is ready to stream from June 13, 2025.
