Abhishek Banerjee’s award-winning crime-Teaser has been released by Prime Video for ‘Theft’. The film, which has been screened at several international film festivals, has been available for streaming since June 2025. It made his debut in the Venice Film Festival 2023, where it got a permanent ovation.

‘Theft’ has been supported by Anurag Kashyap, Kiran Rao, Nikkhil Advani and Vikramaditya Motwen, who is an executive manufacturer of crime. The film is directed by Kara Tejpal and co -written by Tejpal, Swapnil Sulkar -Gadabamb and Gaurav Dhinging, who is also credited as a manufacturer.

‘Chori’ follows the intensive journey of two Urben brothers, who is abducted by a poor mother at a railway station in rural India. One brother, directed by moral duty, assures the other to help the mother and find a dangerous investigation to find the child.
