Aamir Khan Coolie is not included in the Hindi release, confirms the production team
The presence of actor Aamir Khan in superstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited film ‘Coolie’ is only a goodwill gesture. Unlike recent reports, a statement by the actor’s team on Thursday said that he is not involved in the distribution of the film and has not made any calls.

Actor Aamir Khan is not involved in the distribution of Rajinikanth’s much awaited film ‘Coolie’. A spokesman for Aamir Khan Productions on Thursday clarified that the actor would be making a guest appearance only in the film.
This explanation came after recent reports that the actor unexpectedly included himself in the ‘Kuli’ (Hindi) release strategy.
A spokesman for Aamir Khan Productions said, “Neither Aamir Khan nor any person of his team is involved in the distribution of ‘Coolie’. Khan has not made any call to any master or distributor.”
“His cameo in the film is purely a gesture of his bond with directors Lokesh Kanagarj and Rajinikanth. Everyone in AKP, especially Aamir Khan, ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ is thrilled with the success of Youtube release and is very happy with the reaction received,” the official expressed further.
Earlier, reports suggested that Khan pushed PVR-Inox boss Ajay Bijli directly for premium showkeaking for ‘Coolie’. The ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ actor also allegedly pushed a marketing tie-up in North India. It was said that on the same day on August 14, on the same day, PVR-Inox was left in a difficult place, given the ‘War 2’ for a dramatic release.
‘Coolie’ follows a former gold smuggler, Dev (played by Rajinikanth). He aims to recover his previous belief by reviving his old gang. The trailer for ‘Cool’ released on August 2 has already been viewed on YouTube 20 million times.
Directed by Lokesh Kangraj, the film is produced under the banner of Sun Pictures. The film claims music by Anirudh Ravichender, who had previously collaborated with Rajinikanth on the 2023 film ‘Jailor’, in other projects.
On the other hand, ‘War 2’, directed by Ayan Mukherjee and is produced by Aditya Chopra. It follows the success of ‘War’ released in 2019. Junior NTR will play the role of a counterpart in the film with a star-stad cast. The film will be released worldwide in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
