Allu Arjun and director Atlee had joined hands earlier this year for the tentatively titled AA22xA6. As the film is currently under production, it appears that the film may become a two-part venture.

Will Allu Arjun’s AA22xA6 be a 2-part film?

According to online discussions, the producers of AA22xA6 are considering the possibility of making the film a two-part project. Due to the scale, budget, and grandeur of the film, the team is interested in such a development. However, no official confirmation has been made yet.

Furthermore, reports suggest that the film has completed around 60 percent of its shooting, with the makers currently filming an underwater action sequence. With top Hollywood technicians attached to the project, the first part is expected to release by the end of 2026, while the sequel is likely to be shot later.

Recently, Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar also followed the same path, the sequel of which was announced to release on March 19, 2026.

AA22xA6 is an upcoming action film starring Allu Arjun in the lead role. Directed by Atlee, the film is said to explore the concept of a parallel world, in which many new elements will be introduced with the help of an international studio.

The makers had earlier announced that Deepika Padukone would be playing one of the lead roles in the film and had even shared a promo featuring her. Additionally, actresses Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur are also speculated to be a part of the project.

Marking the first collaboration between the Pushpa star and Atlee, reports suggest that the film may feature Allu Arjun in four roles, making it the first time that the actor will be seen in multiple avatars in the same film.

Allu Arjun was last seen in the lead role in the action drama Pushpa 2: The Rule. Directed by Sukumar, the film is the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021) and is based on the story of a daily wage laborer and his rise to become the leader of a sandalwood smuggling syndicate.

With Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the co-lead roles, the film became one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema.

Looking ahead, there are speculations that the actor may soon team up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a film. However, this is just a rumor right now.
